Leslie Munson, MSW, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of PA since 2009 and have worked in the mental health field since 2002. I earned a Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Social Work from Widener University in 2005, graduating summa cum laude and as a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society. I serve the populations of adults and adolescents aged 14 and up in individual, couples, and marital psychotherapy.

My work experience includes both the child psychiatric unit and the disordered eating clinic at the Hershey Medical Center, adjudicated youth and therapeutic foster care in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, and York counties. For the past 19 years, I have provided outpatient counseling in a variety of practice settings.

My expertise centers around mood disorders, anxiety, disordered eating, grief and loss, and phase of life issues. I work effectively with couples teaching successful communication skills and parenting techniques, and bond well with the adolescent population. I work with medical related trauma. I am sensitive to spiritual issues and will apply Christian principles if requested.
